Facebook Profits from Division

Facebook uses the platform to instigate hatred among people in order to drive up engagement and increase profits from ad revenue. Whether you believe this is intentional or not, Facebook profits from division.

 




 

Think about it.  White people see hatred towards them from Black Lives Matter.  Black people see right wing extremism.  Both sides go at each other ruthlessly, earnestly defending their ideals and cultures, all while Facebook generates record sales and ad displays.

Just a conspiracy?  Here’s the facts:

On October 9th, 2020, Facebook released their Q3 Earnings.  Although ad revenue was up, the number of daily users was down.  This period covered the beginning of the Covid-19 crisis.

With revenues of $21.5 billion and net income of $7.8 billion, the company earned $2.71 in per-share profit during the three-month period.

Economists had expected Facebook to earn a much-smaller $1.91 per-share off smaller revenues of $19.82 billion. The company also reported an average of 1.82 billion daily active users in September, up 12% compared to the year-ago period. Monthly actives were 2.74 billion, also up 12%. Both results were ahead of expectations.

Notably Facebook’s headcount rose sharply during the year, rising 32% compared to the year-ago period. That outstripped its 22% year-over-year revenue growth.

Sounds great, right?  But wait…

Facebook noted in its earnings that it thinks that the “pandemic has contributed to an acceleration in the shift of commerce from offline to online,” leading to it experiencing “increasing demand for advertising as a result of this acceleration.”

In short, the ad revenue market boomed, but daily active users flat-lined; and in order to keep up with expenses and the growing demand for online ads, Facebook had to do something to boost current user’s daily time spent on the platform.

Enter the Black Lives Matter movement and the current cultural war….

If you are a developer, you probably understand the behavioral science involved in designing user engagement.  Companies like Facebook follow a white-paper called The Hooked Method.  But they have taken user-manipulation to a whole new level, to the point where they are actually steering the collective conscious of the world.

They poke at you.. and them.. and everyone, in order to stir up your passions, make you feel offended, betrayed by your government or other cultures, and helpless if you do not speak up and defend what you believe.  So, like a good user, you get on the platform and speak your mind, and this is what you are being programmed to do.

Take a look at the first quarter of 2021, after they invested over 200 million dollars in leftist businesses and organizations, and despite the trumped-up boycott:

• Facebook daily active users (DAUs) – DAUs were 1.88 billion on average for March 2021, an increase
of 8% year-over-year.

• Facebook monthly active users (MAUs) – MAUs were 2.85 billion as of March 31, 2021, an increase of
10% year-over-year.

• Family daily active people (DAP) – DAP was 2.72 billion on average for March 2021, an increase of
15% year-over-year.

• Family monthly active people (MAP) – MAP was 3.45 billion as of March 31, 2021, an increase of 15%
year-over-year.

• Capital expenditures – Capital expenditures, including principal payments on finance leases, were
$4.42 billion for the first quarter of 2021.

• Cash and cash equivalents and marketable securities – Cash and cash equivalents and marketable
securities were $64.22 billion as of March 31, 2021.

• Headcount – Headcount was 60,654 as of March 31, 2021, an increase of 26% year-over-year

How long are we going to continue allowing our society to be mind-fucked by a small group of hackers?
